Every step is 1 step closer to finishing...

I done it, finished the GreatNorthRun. And it has to be one of the best experiences of my life, I thoroughly enjoyed it. The feeling of achievement and accomplishment that you get at the end is overwhelming and for a moment or two, you forget about the exhaustion. My time was 1 hour 52 which I am very happy with at from a starting position of approx. 30,000 I was 7175th over the finish line. Will definitely be back next year too run it and I hope to have some more half marathons under my belt by then including the GreatCarlisleRun which is in a few weeks that I hope to run. My calves are burning, my knee's are killing, I've got a huge blister on my foot, but I've got my medal, and I'm smiling.
